THE GREAT EAST GIPPSLAND OUTDOORS 

Escape the hustle and bustle and connect with nature

East Gippsland is a natural playground waiting to be explored. Escape everyday life and relax and unwind in some of East Gippsland's must stunning landscapes.


ADA RIVER CAMPGROUND

Recharge in nature in this peaceful shady campground alongside the Ada River and beneath the lush rainforest.

How to get there: Head east from Orbost via the Princes Highway, passing through Cabbage Tree Creek and Bellbird Creek. Turn left on to the Combienbar Road and travel through Club Terrace. Take the turnoff to Errinundra via the Errinundra Valley Road. The camping area is located at the junction of this road and the Ada River.

Facilities:  Access is 2WD. There are wood BBQ's, toilet and dogs are allowed. Roads are subject to seasonal closures.


ANGUSVALE

Relax and rejuvenate with stunning views of the Mitchell River and Mountains. 

How to get there: From Bairnsdale take the Bairnsdale - Dargo Road for approximately 50 km. Then turn right
onto Angusvale Rd, follow this road for about 16 km's and you arrive at the Angusvale.

Facilities: Access is 2WD. There are toilets and fireplaces. No dogs allowed.


BALLEY HOOLEY CAMPING AREA

Enjoy quiet, scenic campsites set by the sounds of the flowing river. 

How to get there: Located off Bailey Hooley Road at the junction of the Snowy and Buchan Rivers.

Facilities: There are toilets, picnic tables and fireplace.


 LITTLE RIVER JUNCTION CAMP

Experience the ultimate high-country camping with this isolated campground. 

How to get there: From Seldom Seen take Mckillops Bridge Road. At Wheelers Saddle Turnback Track is on the left-hand side a few km's along on the right-hand side is Little River Junction Track (where the Snowy and Little Rive meet).

Facilities: Access is 4WD and the road is subject to seasonal closure. There are no facilities.


 BENTLEYS PLAIN CAMPING AREA

This campground sits along Nunniong Forest Drive within the Bentley Plain Scenic Reserve. The site boasts a former forestry hut, known as the ‘Bush Hilton’, which provides a glimpse into how forestry workers lived many years ago.

How to get there: At Ensay turn right onto Little River Road. This road eventually turns into Bentley Plains Road, which passes through this camping area, and Moscow Villa. 

Facilities: Access is 4WD There are wood and pit BBQ's Picnic tables and toilet.
