Rise to the challenge

Just 15km outside of Bairnsdale, discover the exhilarating Mt Taylor Mountain Bike Park and the recently opened Skills Park. This is a perfect location for all riders to test their abilities.

Starting from the Mt Taylor Picnic Area, you gain access to a sprawling 30kms of purpose-built mountain bike trails—a haven for thrill-seekers. Explore an array of downhill, all-mountain, and cross-country tracks, each offering a seamless descent back to the picnic area.

The new Skills Park nestled into the picnic area offers a fun and easily accessible place for riders of all ages and experience levels to hone their skills and confidence before hitting the trails. It includes three new jumps lines, a juniors pump track, beginners flow trail, balance zone and drop zone, as well as more advanced features like the ‘hammock’ and ‘wallride’.

For the daring and adventurous, put your skills to the ultimate test on the double black diamond downhill track. This high-speed technical trail winds through the forest, boasting a 300m vertical descent, rapid corners, sizable jumps, and scattered loose rocks. Are you ready for the challenge?
