East Gippsland acknowledges the Gunaikurnai, Monero and the Bidawel people as the Traditional Custodians of the land that encompasses East Gippsland Shire. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in East Gippsland, their Elders past and present.

You will find it hard to stop at just one Nowa Nowa Walk

Nowa Nowa is the perfect place to stretch your legs. A series of short walks which can combine to a full 12km of trails. Showing off the shore of Lake Tyers, passing by flamboyant wetlands, shaded by silver gum forests and scattered with artworks and impressive sculptures. These walks are full of life.
