Lakes Entrance - Kingfish, snapper, Silver trevally, salmon, tailor, flathead, and bream are all active, local prawns, pilchards, and pipis are proving to be the go-to baits. Trophy sized gummy shark are being landed right around the Victorian coastline both in deep water and off the beach. Prawns are in the lake.

Lake Tyers - Fishing off the beach from Lake Bunga to Eastern Beach is producing some great results. Salmon and gummy sharks are being landed with metal lures. Mitchell River - Nice sized bream are being caught along the Silt Jetties, preferred baits being cut crab and local prawn.

Tambo River - Below the Hwy Bridge to the river mouth are producing good results, using local prawn and cut crab. Nicholson River - There have been reports of decent sized bream being landed around the river mouth.

Metung - Trevally, kingfish, and snapper are taking local prawns and pipis. Bream are biting of the Hotel Jetty and along the Boardwalk on pipis and local prawn. Flathead and King George whiting are in Lake King taking plastics. Prawns are running around the Nungurner and Metung areas.

Paynesville/Holland’s Landing - Prawns have been reported around the Paynesville area.

Marlo - Bream, luderick, and flathead are biting, mullet are also showing interest in pilchard and pipis. Salmon, tailor, and gummy shark are active off the beach, responding well to metal lures.

Bemm River - The entrance is closed at the time of publication. Flathead continue to be active in the lake and channel, with soft plastics, hard bodies, and local prawns working well. Bream are a bit on the slow side. Surf beach,for salmon and tailor taking pilchards and surf poppers.

Tamboon Inlet - There are good numbers of bream and flathead in the system to be had.

Mallacoota - Dusky flathead is still in the inlet, taking lures, soft plastics, pilchards, squid and pipis.

Omeo High Country - No Report
