A Hub for Agriculture and Rural Industries

East Gippsland boasts a diverse and thriving agricultural landscape, with over 750,000 hectares dedicated to farming. The region is well-known for its production of beef, wool, dairy, vegetables, and cropping, alongside emerging enterprises such as flower growing and viticulture (winegrowing). With a significant number of hobby and part-time farmers, the demand for high-quality agricultural equipment, products, and services continues to grow.

Beyond agriculture, East Gippsland is home to one of Australia's largest fishing fleet and a major timber industry, contributing to 25% of Victoria’s hardwood output. The region's economy is further bolstered by expanding tourism, manufacturing, and retail sectors, making it a dynamic and flourishing area for business and investment.
