I’m passionate about helping more people discover everything East Gippsland has to offer. From the coastline to the bush, there’s so much to see and do here. East Gippsland Fishing ReportMarch 2025Lakes Entrance - Dusky flathead are plentiful, using swim bait soft plastics and hardbody lures. Bream are biting on small diving bodies and fresh baits. Fraser & Rigby Islands have flathead, and whiting biting on pilchards and local prawn. Kingfish are biting on, local prawns, pippies, and soft lures. Prawns can be found in the shallower sections of the lake system. Offshore are landing; school shark, gummy, snapper and flathead. Eastern Beach and Lake Bunga catching salmon with pilchards and squid.
