Bairnsdale Visitor Information Centre, in East Gippsland, is ideally situated at the start of the Great Alpine Road and a focal point on the Sydney to Melbourne Coastal Route serving both the Gippsland Lakes to the east and the High Country to the north.
The region is an ever popular holiday and touring location all the year round being well known for not only its mild temperate climate especially in the winter months, but for its natural attractions.
