• St Marys Church in the Main Street is adorned with impressive murals painted by Italian artist Francesco Floreani. It has been said and is to be believed, that the murals rival those of Italy and Spain

• Aboriginal Cultural Museum is where you can discover the history, heritage and culture of our traditional owners the Gunai Kurnai

• Enjoy the gardens and the Rotunda in the Main Street and take in the view of the whole town

• The Port of Bairnsdale is where you can view the Mitchell River and even throw in a line

• For a bit of history, The Court House, located in Nicholson Street is a must to see

• Visit the art gallery where you will find beautiful pieces of local artwork with an array of artists on display
